Early World Reset Proposal

I've reviewed the development progress of AE 3.1 and determined that fixing showstopper speed issues and major bugs will require around a month's time. Final testing will then take another week or two, putting the final release date in the first half of April. The beta worlds will continue to run during this period.
As we all know, most of the current worlds are well past their scheduled end date. The release quality 3.1 worlds are most likely not coming in March (see above). Extending stale/deserted worlds further seems like a waste of server resources and funds, and many players want a fresh start. The overall capacity reduction takes into account player movement into the large 3.1 beta worlds.
I'm proposing the following:
plan revised - see below
AE1 (Open) - reset, new game 2005-2015, 300 player limit (2 / player), 45 min / day
AE4 (Realistic) - reset, new game 1990-2005, 300 player limit (2 / player), 30 min / day
AE6 (Realistic) - reset, new game 2005-2020, 300 player limit (2 / player), 30 min / day
AE7 (Open) - leave alone (currently 70% done)
AE14 (Realistic) - leave alone (currently 70% done)
AE2, AE5, AE8, AE10, AE12, AE America Competition - retire
What do you guys think?

I am one of them, so thanks for this!many players want a fresh start.
I am a newcomer here, but was wondering if there is any chance that AE1 could be again 45 min/day (for those like me who have not too much free-time for playing...) - Thanks anyway.

Also, for AE6 would you make it so the airlines start with 2 737-400s since it makes launching the business a lot easier
i think smaller aircraft is fine, starting with 2 737-400s will be way too easy

1 - Restart the time to the beggining but:
... a - Keep the airlines and their money on hand (completly resetting those with negitive balances)
... b - Reset the airline's aircraft giving them cash for each of their aircraft:
...... 1 - For owned aircraft value give money equal to each aircrafts values
...... 2 - For leased aircraft value give money equal to each aircrafts values minus cost to buy each leased aircraft on hand
... c - Reset the gates
... d - Change AE1 from 45min / day to 60min / day
... e - Due to the possibility to there not beeing enough 3.1 worlds available,
...... 1 - Fix the all of the aircraft's end dates so that they all dont end (ie all aircraft wont go out of production)
...... 2 - Increase available space to 750 airlines
...... 3 - Increase number of passengers - ie increase all airports passngers by the same percentange (20% ?)
...... 4 - Make the AE1 Start / end dates 2000 - 3000 (as probally you will need to strech this world)
...... 5 - Increase number of gates by 20% at hub airports:
......... A - that are currantly hub airports in AE1
......... B - or those airports that in real life are either:
............ 1 - were a hub in the past (but are currently not a hub)
............ 2 - are currently a hub
............ 3 - are not a hub but are served in real life by a LCC Airline (Southwest, Ryanair Etc)
...... 6 - Limit everyone to one airline

1b)whats the point?
1c) will happen
1d) most players prefered the 45 min/day
1e1) The date will retun to normal so this isn't a problem
1e2) will the server cope?
1e3) the copetition will be reduced
1f) you think were going to get 750 players? not everybody wants to play AE1
1g)build a terminal?
the devs are not going to expend a lot of energy on this when fixing AE3.1 is the main concern

well, first able it is too easy, second able AE6 starts at 1980 while 734 is only released in 1988 or something

Open world, 1980-1995
Realistic world, 2010-2025
This fills in the time gaps left by the other worlds, and they would only be needed if demand is sufficient.

I see the point here, but I'd just like to propose this...

This fills in the time gaps left by the other worlds, and they would only be needed if demand is sufficient.
I made some changes to the plan for the following reasons:
1) AE14 covers the 1985-2000 period, so players who like the 80s would have started there anyway. This group has historically been relatively small, as demonstrated by AE6 now having under 100 airlines.
2) AE7 already covers the 1990-2005 period, and most of the "open" demand seems to be concentrated in the modern (post 2000) era.
Keep in mind this is a stopgap measure, so we can't cater to every time period for every game mode. The 3.1 worlds will have much more complete coverage
