1. You love jet noise. Yes.
2. Whenever you hear a roaring/buzzing sound you immediately look up at the sky. Yes.
3. You can tell a 767-200 from a -300 at a quick glance. Depends on the angle, but usually yes.
4. Whenever you take a trip, usually you look forward to the flight more than the destination. Sometimes, not always.
5. On pictures from the said trip a good majority was on the plane you flew. Usually true.
6. You almost always take a window seat. Yes.
7. Aircraft type and airline is a high priority when picking a flight. I'm not legally allowed to book a flight yet, but it would be. I always hound my parents for info regarding the flight.
8. You can tell the difference between a 747-300 and a 747-400. Yes.
Feel free to add on.
How to know if you're a plane enthusiast.

Number 4 applies to me a lot . Every month or so I ask "So, when will we fly again" and theres the same response "Hmmm, well I don't know, maybe when we have a family meeting" Then I get hyped and wait 6 months until its time to fly. And it was all just to see the planes takeoff and land and takeoff and land... And its such a lesiure to fly since we dont have much money so flights only happen every two vacations and we also get to eat food at an airport and even though it's just an airport... I always feel like its an special experience.

That's easy unless it's a 747-400D, which makes it slightly more challenging. the real challenge is the 747-200 vs the 747-300

2. Whenever you hear a roaring/buzzing sound you immediately look up at the sky. Mhm! My friend think Im weird

7. Aircraft type and airline is a high priority when picking a flight. Mhm, i refuse to fly United again no matter how cheap they are. I also refuse to fly an A330 if I have to sit in the narrow back area.
8. You can tell the difference between a 747-300 and a 747-400. Yes, because China Airlines use to operate the 400 to LAX where I would transfer

People wont sit next to you because of it.
Random passenger: So how's life
Me: You know this was the first prototype of the 747?
Random passenger: Oh wow, cool.
Me: It later almost crashed as Northwest Airlines Flight 85 in 2002.
Random passenger: [chilled silence]
<whirring noise>
Random passenger: Uh, what was that?
Me: Just the flaps retracting after takeoff for the climb.

If by amenity kit you mean blankets/pillows and stuff, not only that, I take it with me. I have a Southwest pen set and a Delta blanket somewhere.

I realised it was bad when I missed the smell of JP4 after three weeks on the ground. Avgas Anonymous helped.
