Skylite - well, I have many hubs too and most are larger than yours but it is possible to increase prices only somewhat due to the flight being between too hubs and not like this especially if there is competition.
Regarding Africa this is the thing I have already mentioned previously. In Africa the cities that are major in real life may be not profitable to fly to (the Johannesburg-Durban example I have mentioned, also Lagos-Abudja, Johannesburg-Cape Town to a lesser extent) however some smaller cities are profitable for some reason.

Your Air Transvaal. I kept trying to figure out what airline you were. But your Air Transvaal. A lot of times how much you make on a route depends on how many daily passangers the airport has. For example the LAX - DEN route LAX has over 1000 passangers and DEN has over 700. I don't think the airports in africa have quite that many daily passangers.

Yes I am Air Transvaal.
The routes in Africa are quite lucrative (without hubs but hubs give only relatively minor increase) and I have not only Q400s but also many A330s and 739s now and still it is impossible to increase prices like that even between main hubs and if there is competition the prices need to go down even further. I have no plans to expand into America currently however so couldn't check whether maybe in America hubs give larger profits than here, when other people who are based in America will open more hubs we'll see.

There's an airline on FRA-LHR I saw had an unnaturally high market share. That route in question got trashed (not by the airline in question - it was already there) and when I tried matching a certain airline's price, the prediction was a 13% loadfactor - so his market share is intriguing. Neither FRA or LHR are his hubs.
Well, I can't say much since I abused Sim2 in the first 2 rounds and I'm actually playing it properly for the first time (since the script seems to work!).

So you are the guys giving me a hard time down there in the Black continent? ;-)
I am trying to figure out which cities serve as good hubs. If only some were left and not taken by a big airline (no names here, hihi).
Cheers,
Felix

Due to continuing accusations of cheating and displeasure with the way the top airlines in sim2 play the game Skylite Airlines has decided to leave the running for the top spot in sim2. We will not be leaving the game but will be changing ticket prices and closing routes to make the game more realistic. Skylite Airlines hope is that the other top airlines in sim2 will do the same to make the game more injoyable for everyone.

Yep, I would have posted just 'Yep' but it wouldn't have been enoguh characters. So I'm posting this long winded excuse for a comment when I could have done 'Yep'. Sheesh!
