Air Berlin will start flying from both Berlin-Tegel and Dusseldorf to Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia. Both flights to Dubrovnik will be served once weekly with A320s, while Split will be served 1-2 times weekly with A320s.
Air India will start 3 weekly flights betwen Delhi and San Francisco, starting 2 Dec 15 on 777-200LR aircraft.
Allegiant Air will add 2 weekly flights to each of the following destinations: Des Moines (1 A319, 1 MD-80), Fresno (2 MD-80), and Memphis (2 MD-80)
American Airlines will add 5 daily (!) E-175 flights between Washington/Reagan to Atlanta from 5 Jan 16.
China Southern Airlines will add 2 new destinations to its offering from Changsha: Kuala Lumpur (to be served daily with A320 aircraft from 26 Oct 16) and Tokyo/Narita (2 weekly with A230 from 27 Oct 16)
CSA Czech Airlines will start three new routes: Prague-Helsinki (4 weekly A319 initally, Daily thereafter) Prague-Poznan-Gdansk-Poznan-Prague (4 weekly ATR), Prague-Bordeaux (2 weekly A319)
Delta Airlines has announced daily service between Raleigh-Durham and Paris-CDG on 757 Aircraft, starting 12 May 16.
EasyJet will cease all flights to Russia, with Moscow/Domodedovo-London/Gatwick service ending 20 Mar 16.
Frontier Airlines has announced a slew of new routes, all daily on either A319 or A320 aircraft. The routes are: Denver-Charlotte, Denver-Philadelphia, Ft Myers-Detroit (seas.), Ft Myers-Indianapolis (seas.), Ft Myers-Milwaukee, Ft Myers-St Louis, Orlando-Houston/Bush, Orlando-Kansas City, Orlando-Milwaukee, and St Louis-Tampa (seas.)
Hainan Airlines will fly three times a week from Beijing/Capital to Tel Aviv, with flights on A330-300 aircraft from 28 Apr 16.
Iberia Express will start 4 weekly flights between Madrid and Birmingham. Flights will be offered with A320 aircraft starting 27 Mar 16.
NordStar will add the following rotations from Moscow-Domodedovo, all aboard 737-800 aircraft from 25 Oct 15: Moscow-Kazan (2 daily), Moscow-Kraznodar (1 daily), Moscow-Makhachkala (1 daily), Moscow-Mineralnye Vody (1 daily), MOscow-Rostov (1 daily), Moscow-Sochi/Adler (1 daily)
Qatar Airways will (finally) add Sydney to their route map with daily service to Doha. The flights will be flown on 777-300ER aircraft starting 1 Mar 16.
Turkish Airlines will add Durban service to their existing Johannesburg service, starting 5 Nov The tag will be added to 3 out of the 7 Joburg rotations, using A330-300s.
United Airlines will start 3 weekly seasonal flights to Xi'An in China from San Francisco. Flights will be operated with 787-800 aircraft, subject to gov't approval.
Vietnam Airlines will undergo a massive expansion to China, with A321 flights on the following routes being started during W15/16: Da Nang-Shijiazhuang (1 weekly), Nha Trang-Chongqing (1 weekly initally, 4 weekly later), Da Nang-Lanzhou (3 weekly), Ho Chi Minh City-Hangzhou (3 weekly), Da Nang-Jinan (2 weekly), Da Nang-Nanchang (2 weekly), Nha Trang-Hangzhou (2 weekly), Nha Trang-Nanning (3 weekly)
Volaris will add two weekly flights between Durango and Chicago Midway, twice a week on A320 aircraft. This route will start 8 Dec 15.
Vueling will add a new A320 base at Paris-CDG, with the first flights 4 May 16. Routes are: Bari (2 weekly), Copenhagen (4 weekly), Fuerteventura (2 weekly), Prague (6 weekly), Tangier (2 weekly), Venice (daily), Vienna (5 weekly). They will aslo add daily flights between Amsterdam and Milan/Maplensa from 1 Feb 16, and weekly flights to Mahon from Bologna, Milan/Maplensa, and Verona from Apr/Jun 16.
WOW Air will start 4 weekly flights to Stockholm-Vasteras from Reykjavik-Keflavik on A320 aircraft. Flights start 19 May 16.

Covering just the important route announcements over the past month,
- American Airlines will add daily flights to Auckland and Tokyo Haneda from Los Angeles, as well as Saturday flights to Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Raleigh/Durham, and Nashville from Cancun.
- China Eastern Airlines will add 3 weekly flights to Chicago-O'Hare and Brisbane from Shanghai Pudong.
- SAS will add 3 weekly Copenhagen-Miami flights to accent 4 new weekly flights from Oslo.
- LOT Polish Airlines will add flights to Kharkiv, Palanga, and Kosice from Warsaw, operated 5, 6, and 6 times weekly, respectively.
- airBerlin will operate flights from its hub in Dusseldorf to Dallas (4 weekly), San Francisco (3 weekly, to 5 weekly later), Boston ( 3 weekly, to 4 weekly later), and Havana (2 weekly, awaiting gov't approval)
- FlyBe will operate 8 new routes from Doncaster/Sheffield, with frequencies between 2 weekly and 13 weekly, to Alicante, Amsterdam, Berlin, Faro, Jersey, Malaga, Newquay, and Paris.
- Singapore Airlines will begin 3 weekly flights between Singapore and Dusseldorf.
- Delta Air Lines will begin a Minneapolis-Reykjavik route, to be operated daily on a seasonal basis.
- Hainan Airlines will launch flights from Xi'An to Sydney and Rome (both 2 weekly) and Tokyo (daily)
- Fiji Airways will add 2 weekly Nadi-Singapore flights
- Spirit Airlines will begin flights from Los Angeles and Las Vegas to Seattle. The latter will be operated daily, while the former will be double-daily.
- CSA Czech will begin 5 weekly flights between Prague and Birmingham.
- British Airways will add daily London Heathrow to Inverness flights.

American Airlines will debut a new premium economy class on its 787-9 aircraft in 2016. It will be on all 777, 787, A330 and A350 by 2018, but not on any 767s.

[*] Rossiya Airlines are to acquire 14 ex-Transaero 747s, which represents a large boost to the airline's fleet of narrowbodies.

airberlin go backrupt. This happened more than a month ago and I am very surprised to see no one posted about it yet. Lufthansa and easyjet looking to buy airberlin assets, but airberlin is likely to disintegrate. Airberlin cutting all longhaul operations and returning all their A330s to AerCap. Airberlin also suffering from strikes. The results are not out yet, but I am sure airberlin will be liquidated.

Airbus acquires majority stake in Bombardier CSeries program. The majority of CSeries aircraft will still be produced in Quebec, with an additional final assembly line being added in Mobile, Alabama.
