Frontier Airlines has acquired financial challenged Business Express, and Frontier has resumed all schedules, and honored all passengers from Business Express.
Business Express, with it's great business model, says a Frontier spokesperson, unfortunately had too few routes and too much competition, Frontier can handle this competition and progress the airline and benefit the airports it serves, mainly, East Hampton, Islip, and Boston.
Ultimately operations will be shifted to Frontier subsidy, Lynx Aviation. Who can operate smaller regional aircraft more efficiently than the larger and weight restricted aircraft of Frontier operating out of East Hampton.
