On the aircraft information page for the Boeing 777-300, a picture of a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER is being used.

I haven't found a version with an acceptable resolution of the picture in game, but if it indeed is 9V-SWA, then yes, it is a Boeing 777-300ER depicted here. Imho there is no immediate need to replace it though.

Well...a 777-300ER (77W) has longer wing due to the wingtips installed, and also has larger engine (which happens to be the largest single engine in the market) than a 777-300, and an experienced flyer can actually tell the difference from the outside without seeing the registration number.
I think I have a picture of 777-300 (773) non-ER version with good resolution. I took it at the airport, and it should be 773 of Korean Air. I'll go and look for it.

i would rather have aircraft picture in standard manufacturer livery.. feels weird flying aircraft in rival's livery, not good for branding

Probably not the best argument to go for...

They are very, very different planes, we need a new picture. Unfortunately I can't find my memory card for the pictures of Boeing 777-300ER.

Well, I haven't seen that many 777s so far, Airbi are more common in my area. As you can't see the wingtips, you aren't able to see the different wingtips, but the gear does seem like the one on a 77W in the way it tilts.

Oops I meant the Boeing 777-300, I've flew on one of Cathay's, it was old, disgusting and horrible. And I'm sorry Northern, I'm just pointing out a mistake which is not a big deal, don't get judgmental.

If we're going to find small faults and complain, the B762 photo is of a B762ER and I believe some of the Avro/RJ photos (may) be wrong

You're right about the B762 photo, its a KrasAir B767-200ER in AiRUnion alliance livery, but I'm have no idea on the BAe Avro/RJ photos.

If you don't like the Boeing 777-300 because you had bad experience with a bad interior on it, it's not the aircrafts fault. It's the airlines fault not to install a new interior or maintain the old one at a acceptable level. You wouldn't notice the age of a 732 if it had a shiny new interior compared to a 738 with a slightly outdated one if you wouldn't notice the fact that it's a 732.

I am sorry the world will now end thxs a lot.
Who cares they basically look the same are you going to quit the site because of this.
I see no need for all this hostility - the 777-300 and 300ER are different aircraft and not visually identical, so pointing out that the picture is wrong is a perfectly valid concern. While it's not the highest priority, I've added this to my internal issue tracker so it doesn't get lost.
