I have complete couple worlds in AE and every time you complete a world, the world simply reset and you simply lost your airline. Then you probably join a new world and start another airline from the scratch. I know this game is really addicting, but at one point some people might had enough and stop playing, realizing that there's no in-game recognition that you have to pursue and to keep you playing again and again.

I was thinking what if there's some sort of recognition that you can carry from your previous world. Something that is attached to your profile, credentials that you can show of (i.e. CEO of First Rank Airline in world xxx, Most Valuable CEO in world xxx, Billionaire CEO Club), or maybe money you earned (salary, bonus, stock options) from previous airline in previous world. So you really have the more incentive to keep playing this already addicting game.

Another thing to add is role playing feature. That is to say, instead of solo game, you can now form a group of player to run the airline together. The player who create the airline will eventually become the CEO. He will have the option to hire another player to run particular aspect in the airline.

So instead of only CEO run everything, there are other roles such as Director of Strategy that choose airline hub and destination, Director of Operation that handle fleet utilization, Director of Sales & Marketing that handle pricing and marketing, Director of Service that define cabin config and IFS/IFE, Director of Finance that handle financing and aircraft purchase, Director of Human Resource that handle employee management. Of course the CEO can override the roles as well as run the airline himself, by appoint himself on all those roles.

Question, how would you hire other players that you don't really know? By looking at their credentials which show their past performance with other airline or their own airlines. Either you hire someone you know or you hire someone with good record of playing the game well. Of course they also can expect you to provide them with good remuneration package. And later when the world ends, they can retire with proud, having some credentials such as Most Valuable Director of Finance/CFO, etc, as well as earn some money.

I know the suggestion may be way too much and could drastically change the game-play. But given the very responsive developers, who know these might be accommodated in the future, AE 10.0 perhaps? :D Anyway, thanks for reading.

And I think this goes all the way off course on AE...

And even if it doesn't, waiting for AE10 (perhaps)... Will be :alarm: alarming! (They take a long time to code :/ )

I am not too sure about this idea...

However we do aleready have a shared airline feature that allows for the founder and one other player to be in charge of the airline.

And besides, vhoosing out of credentials is not always the best thing to do. you need to know the person that you put in charge of your airline a bit, cause someone might have verry good credentials but have a not so good attitude.

But i am not too sure about this idea adding Credentials/Titles after every world... if you want that you can make it yourself by take a screenshot and pasting into a word document with a little description... :/

So you would have "badges" or a mark on your profile?
I actually quite like this idea. I Don't think that it would be hard to implement either. :)

Global awards and a history of rankings has been on my mind for a while, but I haven't gotten around to it. :P Now role playing sounds interesting... :shifty:

I agree a lot of hard work and effort goes to waste when a game concludes and is reset.

I think a permanent snapshot of the rankings page could be kept for reference, and Perhaps have 'badges' or a list of achievements for each player on their profile.
