Hi everyone! I had a question and i think it would be good to see other people's opinion on it. I was wondering if there is ever going to be an option where you can merge two airlines in a world that you have as i have come across many instances in which i would have wanted to but couldn't. Does anyone agree with me that there should be this feature?
Merging airlines

This idea has been pitched before (Again and again and again....x1929494458858583992823) and is currently being evaluated.

This is very needed because it makes the whole thing realistic [EXCEPT WHEN OVERUSED & TAKEN FOR GRANTED]. This must have been prioritized to the current version of AE instead of the "Notepad".
And AE4 will come out of nowhere like the new Notepad feature. ooolllraaaayt!

Like when your single airline has lower valuation than another airline and you want to overtake him?
I can't wait for this feature.
I can wait for this feature indefinitely.
And AE4 will come out of nowhere like the new Notepad feature
Why bother enhancing AE3 when it is going to be replaced by AE4 soon?

In AE3, as it is, that feature would produce infinite new ways to cheat... Even used airplanes coming on the market had to be delayed because they were misused, now imagine all the schemes that someone could come up with by enabling mergers...

You mean like what AA did with US airways?

I'd love this feature. There sure are numerous airlines that, when merged, could form great additions, and enchance the guest experience. Like TWA & American.

Why is this being suggested for the billionth time? Requests are starting to get boring

We should have the ability to buy smaller airlines without their permission. How about that one?

No. That would mean the biggest airline could buy out the rest of the world and just own everything.

That's the point.

That's the point.
Screw it. I just blew you up in a race against a Corvette ZR1. When you request a merger, the other airline receives a message, and can say yes or no, and both people control the airline until payment is made.
