African E145

African operates several regional flights with their fleet of Embraer 145s, E190s and Bombardier Dash 8 Q2/300s. serving remote areas throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, and even small communities at the edge of the Sahara desert. These flights are critical for the small communities in the area, often being the only link between them and jobs and medical care that the people need desperately. Nearly all of these routes are government subsidized to ensure ticket prices are affordable to the poorest of citizens who need these flights to earn a livelihood or see their loved ones receive proper care. Because of this need to serve these extremely poor communities, African is dedicating much of it's earnings toward research of electric aircraft. These aircraft will cost less to maintain, to fuel, and will lower environmental impact overall. African sees that electric is the future, so it can keep serving the communities that need air access the most, for even less than it costs today

Can't get over how good that logo is

    YES!

I just realized this, but the use of the icon on the engine is a bit awkward since it's the only face on the plane facing in the other direction. Keeping the engine as its light green shade would be sufficient because there's already two lionheads on the livery -- imo, three is a bit redundant.

    yummy airplane! looks good

It's facing that way to display the whole logo. I thought it best to orient it so that the African continent was in the correct direction. As far as the multiple instances go, not all aircraft in the African fleet have winglets, and it would be more important to display the logo on the engine which is consistent across the entire fleet
