Hi, currently i'm playing on SC3 but i've started some airlines before. But the problem is that while other airlines have 747 on order just 6 months after begging i only have 3 planes and with -36M$. And this always happens to me. Every time i start a new airlines i try not to open hubs, use the same kind of planes, no IFE/IFS, etc. And I don't know what else I could do.

I would say if you're flying from such a busy airport as Barcelona to somewhere like Paris try to fulfill all the demand on that route, and then focus on other airports and make sure you go into airline options and Human Resources and lower their pay to make higher profits at first. Also add a SPAM IFS to make better money.
I hope this helps

If you're struggling, an easy way to make extra money is to use the mentioned scam IFS (Low quality, high cost). Gate costs are usually high, especially in big airports so I also suggest returning unnecessary gates if possible. In addition, as explained above, operating from a high demand airport leaves many destinations that can be filled, and it is better to focus on 1-2 routes rather than spread out so much and lose a lot of money in gates and time.
Hope this helps!

Here's some beginner's advice.
1. Stick to one aircraft family when your cash flow is very low at the beginning. That single MD-80's base maintenance cost would be hurting you right now.
2. Don't be afraid to expand to smaller airports and avoid bigger ones. A smaller airport with 378 daily demand will still keep an A320 busy with 14x frequency.
3. Work in radiuses. 100-300 mile routes probably have the quickest return on investment so fulfilling all your ultra-short haul market in the beginning will give you great cash flow.
More experienced people will do #2 and #3 immediately, which actually gives enough cash flow to ignore advice #1. They'll be able to max out the delivery rates of the 737 classic and A320 lines in the first month because of the cash flow.
I also see you've been experimenting with hubs. Don't do it until you max out the 10-gate limit and absolutely need a terminal. I advise you invade another city and set up another 10-gate operation so you won't need to lie around waiting for the money for a terminal.
