Like other threads, airports, aircraft, airlines etc, now it's time to list the train companies you've travelled with and even a frequency.

Tyne & Wear Metro (NEXUS) - daily - MetroCar
CrossCountry - thrice yearly - Voyager
Northern rail - monthly - Pacer/Sprinter
First Transpennine Express - rare - some stock

I don't know the models of the trains (not the point after all the thread is about companies) but I've been in a service of CP - Comboios de Portugal - to Aveiro called Intercidades, and Japan Railways service to Nagoya, I think the name was Hikari, I can still remmember because it was my first time in a bullet train! Also I've used the subway of Sao Paulo (never again if I have the choice), Tokyo and Lisbon.
