It is tedious and a waste of time to adjust ticket prices dollar by dollar, trying to find the maximum profit.
It would be great that if you click on a button, the price is set automatically so that you get the maximum profit.

Yeah, lets make crushing tiny airlines involve the press of a single button, and no thought whatsoever!

Merely trying different prices and see which makes your profit larger has no thoughts or strategy involved. It only wastes time.
Then don't bother maximising profits, simple.
bad idea. Makes it easy for mega airlines to crush competition
Wee, this is a math-based simulation. Challenge yourself to solve the math and you'll solve your problem.

we don't need that. what we really need is a feature to customise the stewardess uniform.
In terms of automation, I'd rather have a batch process that would analyze and distribute routes so that your aircraft inventory is used to max efficiency.
A "maximize profit" button is just lazy.

That reminds me, I could use a "minimize bugs" button to do my coding for me
In all seriousness, with the current passenger model there is no mathemagical formula for calculating the profit-maximizing price on a route, which leaves us with the iterative option. This type of auto-pricing has been tried at one point but was quickly abandoned due to severe performance problems and server resource consumption. Besides the technical roadblocks, there's the question of whether auto-pricing is even a desirable game mechanic, and my opinion is no.
