Is it really $55,000,000? Probably should be higher.
Do you have a source? In any case, aircraft pricing will always be fuzzy because (1) airlines rarely pay the list price and (2) the list price changes from year to year due to inflation, so no matter what, it will be wrong the vast majority of the time.
The Russian models are generally cheaper in AE to reflect their high operating costs
No source. It just seemed awkward that the price was much lower than previous generation Russian planes, yet the pax count & range were significantly greater. Thanks for the responses.
$55m if anything might be high judging by some figures around the net. But though those sites quote $40-55m, I can't find where they get their numbers from as evidence.
