I spent about 20 mil leasing 15 CRJ-200. I made a configuration for it, negotiated for the contract before realizing I'm wasting my space on the planes so I made another configuration for the CRJs and deleted the old one. When I went back to the negotiation tab for the CRJs I accidentally clicked accept instead of negotiate. So now I have 15 CRJs being delivered to me in the old config that I deleted. To make matter worse I'm not seeing them in my inventory, as of the time of writing 3 shouldve been delivered, but I'm not paying any lease or maintenance. I just lost my depositing (first 6 months lease) for 15 CRJs.
By my estimate I lost a down payment of the first six months' lease of $15,296,850.
The exact steps of what I've done.
- Initiate lease negotiation of an aircraft.
- Click change seats configuration at the offer page during negotiation.
- Create new configuration
- Renegotiate
- Set seat configuration to the one I created
- Delete the configuration for the aircraft type in a separate tab
- Go back to the offer, press confirm lease for the offer with the deleted configuration
- Wait
I paid the deposit, waited, received notification that they are delivered, but I never see the plane or paid anymore money for the lease or maintenance.
I've refunded the recorded amount of $15,257,655 to your airline.
