Weird Political Restrictions

So I'm using GooseJet a Airline based in Canada and I'm trying to fly from (YEG) Edmonton Int'l (IN CANADA) to (LGA) New York LaGuardia and it won't let me I mean I'm based in Canada and have a hub in YEG                                                  IM SO CONFUSED

Flights in LGA can’t get past 1,500 miles, and here it is 2,000. It is a real political restriction.

LGA has a limit of 1,500 statue miles. DCA has a 1,400 mile restriction.
