Hmm, this map below shows the flight path of MH17 on Thursday compared to the other flight paths it had previously taken on that same route.

Maybe an altered flight path could have unfortunately been a factor and a huge mistake?

This is horrible! Its pretty amazing how the two largest aviation crashes this year are both with the same airline! But, who in their right mind would fly an aircraft over such an area, when though it wasn't officially restricted at the time. It was only a few days ago that a transporter cargo plane got shot down, if a commercial plane was to fly over the area it is inevitable that it could be mistaken for a military plane
