#31475 Air Germany [News]

Posted by Fly_Germany on 27 March 2006 - 12:04 PM in Airline Press Releases

Yesterday Air Germany signed a deal with Orion Broker(s) for ONE Airbus A320-200 and ONE additional Q400, Thanks for the help :( .. The Second hand though practically brand new shiny A320-200 Flew its first flight to Egypt early this morning. Air Germany plans on replacing its ageing A321-100 with the new A320-200 from Airbus, the Q400's will also be maintained and open new routes, The same A320 also opened up a new route to France flying alongside the Q400.

We plan on setting new routes out of Germany (Europe) to Continents like Africa, the middle East, North America and mayby even Asia though its a long way away but the new A320 surely will help improve the new routes and large capacity routes, they fit just right in.

Pictures of the new aircraft livery and designs to be posted in a few weeks/months (depends on how fast i can paint :) )

#31419 Boeing Vs. Airbus - Research for school

Posted by Fly_Germany on 23 March 2006 - 05:29 AM in Real World Aviation

that sounds good.. personally i think Airbus goes for the more economic side with the same design structures etc... and boeing gets a lot more creative with new futuristic intresting designs that introduce an entirely new species of aircraft (if theres such thing). Thats all that really gives me the feeling of difference, Airbus keeps the same design (jsut look at the A330 and A340= just longer and more engines) and boeing seems to me as a trend setter (like the 747= A380 etc..)

Hope that lot of words makes sense.. Good luck with the paper! :(

OKAY!!!! everyone get back together and hug, lets all be happy... Now all lets just repeat these words,

Airline Empires is a Simulation, People try there best to fix bugs or problems up
Airline Empires is a Simulation, People try there best to fix bugs or problems up
Airline Empires is a Simulation, People try there best to fix bugs or problems up
Airline Empires is a Simulation, People try there best to fix bugs or problems up
Airline Empires is a Simulation, People try there best to fix bugs or problems up

no think of a calm happy place.. okay enough with that crap, please acknowledge that some people may not know much about AE and if you say that to a new member at AE who just signed up, im very sure he/she wouldnt bother to return to the rude replies (not aiming at anyone).

#31138 Where's All The Aircraft?????????

Posted by Fly_Germany on 13 March 2006 - 06:19 AM in Bugs

now tell me why would you want to do that? i guess it saves me time to fiind my net aircraft now :( no longer 40 pages to surf through

#31137 So how did your airline go when you started playing?

Posted by Fly_Germany on 13 March 2006 - 06:03 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

1st time in Australia, Bankrupt within days, not enough citys to serve in AUS :(

2nd time in Germany, managed to get a REASONABLE DOP that earned me just one extra aircraft another B1900D :)

SAT OUT FOR 3-4 MONTHS

3rd time Destroyed, mauled and burnt to the ground at Germany (thats what happens when you dont start fresh)

4th time (now) i started a week into the game and was surprised to be able to purchase my first Airbus within 1 week! no more beechs, the smallest i now have is the Q400! im glad not to be killed again because i wouldve just left forever because when it happens 4 times i would give up. (this round has been my best)

#31103 Air Germany [News]

Posted by Fly_Germany on 10 March 2006 - 06:14 AM in Airline Press Releases

Air Germany announced the purchase of another Q400 for its fleet, "The airline was in the green to afford to buy another aircraft so we took the opportunity to fill in our spare slots" Air Germany plans on supporting our neglected routes by adding more frequencies and seats. With this we will gain maximum use of our gates and get the maximum revenue due to this. Thus we should be expanding our fleet once again in around 6 more months.

Great work! glad to see it set-up.. :( :)

#31101 Air Germany [News]

Posted by Fly_Germany on 10 March 2006 - 05:53 AM in Airline Press Releases

Air Germany also see's a good future at 3RA and is pleased to be part of the family :( ,

Air Germany early this week announced its first domestic route within Germany with a weekly flight to and from Nurenberg, Germany.

We plan on making a network of flights around the whole region with fast turbo-prop aircraft like the Q400 which will suit the smaller capacity routes around this area. Air Germany also has options to fly to 2 other domestic destination but chose not to due to a lack of aircraft with time to spare.

#31100 When to go to Jets

Posted by Fly_Germany on 10 March 2006 - 05:39 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

i jumped in early unsure of the outcome, but it has worked and i have replaced all my MAJOR Q400 routes with my first Airbus.. its nearly doubled my DOP but my DOP changes all the time. I risked it and it payed off for now, I suggest you work up some money just in case theres a stuff-up, try to wait for a good deal also :(

#31006 A350

Posted by Fly_Germany on 07 March 2006 - 06:59 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

A350 = Airbus A330 with new engines and fuselage length, - should be called the A330-400 but designed (they say designed even though it looks just like an A330) to compete against the 787 since they released just after the 787 got some firm orders from big airlines.. mayby im all boeing but my opinion is that it should be released into AE when everythings is fixed up, even though its my most disliked airbus :(

#30958 3rd Rock Alliance - The Alliance for Human Airline Entrepreuners

Posted by Fly_Germany on 06 March 2006 - 06:23 AM in Alliances

HI! im intrested in the alliance.. Im based in Frankfurt, Germany i currenltly have a fleet of 2x Bombardier Q400 and 1x Airbus A321 .. im hoping to get all airbus fleet for its affordability and cheap running price. If i do so i will flog of all my other aircraft cheaply to the alliance (if im in)

my DOP is changing a fair bit .last time i looked it was 310K then back to
212K , right now its sitting on the 220K mark. I might have to withdraw if you have any other members in FRA because my only profitable routes are there and i cannot afford to pick up and leave. I hope i get a reply soon :D hope to hear from you :P

#30957 Making gate/landing fees more realistic

Posted by Fly_Germany on 06 March 2006 - 05:50 AM in Suggestions and Feature Requests

i think he is right, i might be wrong though... what im hoping is that more secondary airports be opened especially in Australia, all thats available are the main cities which is crazy, its really crap to new ppl too.

For example:

Coffs Harbour is the busiest regional (secondary) airport in NSW, it can handle up to a 767. I suppose most of the developers are much more busy with other things, but hopefully it will be improved because the only domestic markets are USA and Europe. Well i think that the size option is a good idea, it would make it alot more intresting and Realistic. :P

#30956 Re-set

Posted by Fly_Germany on 06 March 2006 - 05:40 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

No point in reseting now, there trying to fix the bugs and glitches, if we reset we will get into this conversation as soon as another bug is found, The best you could do is sit it out because even if there is a reset the market will eventually get saturated again. It would be best to let the problem get fixed before reseting, dont rush them, It will take time. im sure that they have lives outside of AE too :P

#30307 Can even destroy a terminal?!!

#30230 Air Gemany, searching

Posted by Fly_Germany on 18 February 2006 - 02:33 AM in Alliances

Air germany has been through bankruptcy in the past 2 Resets, and this time Air germany is now earning profits of around DOP 300K... Previously a member of intersky Alliance but left because i was basically leeching on them if i stayed (bankrupty was near :P )

Our fleet currently consists of :

2x Q400's
2x 1900d's (1x for sale public)

with an option of 1x more Q400

Planning purchase gates in FRA (if selling please post)

we are based in Germany connecting most neigbouring european countrys to Germany.

Our Goals:

To open a route across the atlantic to serve North America, And connecting an Asian destination to Germany.

I hope that i can joing up an Alliance, I am honest, and if theres an alliance member on my route i will lower or raise my price to match theres to prevent any un-fair profits.

#30143 New here!

Posted by Fly_Germany on 15 February 2006 - 11:36 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

you have money :P which is good, but you need gates to earn money to buy A/C to buy bigger A/C to buy more gates to use the bigger A/C to its max then that money to build a terminal.. and then you just keep doing that cycle.. i havent even breached it but im lucky with only 2xQ400's as of now!

this is my 3rd go at AE and i have a different A/C then a beech!! wow!

#30141 This just made my day
