G650 Avicii

A week too late for his birthday but I still felt the need to write this.

When this musical genius passed away it was the only time I ever shed tears over someone I did not know personally. His music posessed something that made people come together all over the world while touching their heart and soul. The worldwide tributes people organised for him really bring this fact forward. The Swedish Royal Guard playing a medley of his music during the change of guard or when the entire city of Utrecht could hear the sounds of Avicii echo over their houses when the Domtoren and its Carillonneur (weird word for someone that bashes wooden sticks that make bells go ding) Malgosia Fiebig played several songs of his hand. I still find it amazing how his music is not just "electronic music" and has many deeper levels (pun not intended). It can be played by literally every instrument imaginable and it will still sound amazing. Even a full orchestra, of which the tribute concert was solid proof of. This man transformed the electronic music scene single-handedly and changed how this genre was looked upon by outsiders. My Avicii playlist still gets clicked every day and will be clicked for decades to come. I just wanted to say, thank you so much Tim for all the wonderful and amazing music you created.
