Georgian Airways (Redesign) / Embraer E190

Georgian Airways (Redesign) / Embraer E190

For those that don't know, Georgia is a country in the Caucasus (Between Europe and Asia). Not only a US State.

Georgian Airways (A9) is their flag carrier, quite literally. I decided to modernise their livery, without rebranding the airline and making it as realistic as I could.

Wanted to make the livery a brand ambassador for their country. Took inspiration from Aeroflot's new livery, with the flag covering a large part of the tail and going down into the fuselage (A9 currently uses the Aeroflot flag design with their national flag). Only used the 'Georgian' part of the name so the title can be larger, and added the airline's name in Georgian. Each aircraft would be named after a Georgian city, one side showing in Georgian and the other in English (This aircraft would be name Tbilisi). The spiral is currently not in their livery, so I added it in the front. It's also used in big in the back to cover part of the white space and avoid a bland eurowhite livery. The final touch is a small logo of their national tourism campaign to welcome passengers on board.

    OMG! Lovely!

    Nicely done!
