043 - Qompas, Boeing 747-400ER

Qompas (Queensland Outback Mail & Parcel Aerial Services) has historically operated the 747 as the mainstay of its longhaul fleet. Due to Australia's geographical remoteness, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Qompas is the only operator of the longer range 747-400ER, which enabled the airline to operate year-round the MEL-LAX route with a full payload.
