Together We Rise
In the late-1990’s, a new phenomenon in the world of commercial aviation occurred: the airline alliance. Member airlines collaborated closely with each other to mutually reduce costs by codeshare agreements, splitting purchases, and sharing facilities and staff. This in turn allowed airlines to offer better service (easier connections, more lounges, and reduced travel times) at lower fares to passengers. The benefits were immediately recognized, with multiple competing alliances being formed in the years following.

Hey, AE!
I'm glad you've taken the time to read through this brief introduction. Rise has been an on-and-off pet-project of mine over the past few months, and I'm excited to finally get it off the ground. If you couldn't tell, there's still a lot of things that are very much WIP here, but as this is a group intended for a very niche community of enthusiasts, designers, and world-builders, I wanted to afford those interested a chance to get their hands in on this too.
For years, AE's airlines have collaborated and co-existed on a sort of case-by-case basis. Some brands don't "recognize" others, even within the same alliance. This creates a convoluted series of fictional worlds, which breaks up the immersion. This has also historically caused drama within the community due to feelings of exclusion. Rise's goal is to unify creators and encourage collaboration on an unprecedented level; to create a cohesive, singular world in which all members are interconnected, and to provide a solid foundation on which members can develop their airlines, characters, and other fictional entities.
I can't do this on my own, as I have done up until this point. Therefore, I invite you to join Rise Alliance.
