As of yesterday, snow air has inaugerated its first service to a non - european destination from London Gatwicks airport to Almaty, Kazakhstan and also from Moscow to Almaty, these new routes are operated by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft in a 32C 178Y configuration. These routes have immediately proved popular and Alan Abad has said that "i hope that Almaty will prove to be an airport with alot of potential for Snow Air and we hope to strengthen links to the country".
Snow Air has only been operational for a short period of time but already they are making a deep penetration into the european market by flying to mainly secondary european destinations. Snow air boasts a fleet of; - 9 x A319-100 - 1 x ATR-42-600 - 1 x Bombardier CRj-900ER - 1 x Cessna C208 Caravan Grand Orders; - 2 x A319-100 (leasing) - 2 x Bombardier Q-400 (buying)
At snow air we hope to achieve some amount of fleet commonality by eventually having a fleet of airbus A319's And bombardiers (dash 8's, crj's and dhc-6's)
We mainly operate from Brest, Basel, Girona, Skopye
