Ok, It means an airline has just started operations there when there were 2 gates. Because airlines start with 5 gates, if there are not enough gates the amount of gates goes into the negatives.

Airlines, such as Delta and United have a fleet age of 13-16 years, but you dont have to follow their age. I would just sell them once you have a replacement ready.
