Only 9 seats, not a lot .......

I would like to see aircraft aging reintroduced like we had it years ago.

Plane should age and their value should decrease, this helps the flow of older aircraft through to players who can not afford new ones.

Also fuel flow should increase with age making them less economical.

If I may come into answer this:

Some time back when TW was active, this I asked for to be made active again, however TW stated that due to a hacking of a script which also corrupted the ordering system this whole script would require a re-vamp rewrite.

But (Things to Look at and do) is made of this as its important (Why)?

A: The age of aircraft be it new (0 Yrs) except for the 2 given AC and each year they reduce in value, (Year by Year) this isnt happening now and again reflects on your true value, plus as before the older the AC the less effecient they become and used more fuel which cut into the balance sheet so players traded/sold/mothballed or sold to (Chicken:p) old desert bound AC.

If we are going to have a top ten ranking of true value this must be looked at, therefore Tobias may be able on the side of this after reset, look at the damage and duly advise us :eureka:

Crashes - try using search 1st its been talked about a lot of times.

Yeah there is a limit, I've implemented it on 14th November 2008 - a long time ago and I can't remember the reason...

Removed the limit now.

You placed a limit when the server slowed down due to a massive load of aircraft that was ordered B1900 and others....

Im beggining to see there are alot of pointless features being added or already in the game. features like:
Lifetime Profit? does anyone know what that is?
also some of the new aircraft like the cessna, piaggio, Fairchild Metro23 they will never really have any impact in the game and adding aircraft like that is taking time away from more urgent features

If you are flying regional those aircraft can produce a nice return.

Not all want international flights.

Lifetime profit is you search on it you will see it isnt used, like a lot of other features stock etc, but that was Millers adding.

Couple ideas/suggestions I have for the mothball page.

1) the ability to select multiple aircraft at once. IE, im trying to dispose of about 50 707's, hard to do right now because I can only go one at a time.

2) the ability to mothball directly from the aircraft page. IE, click on the specific aircraft and under the new route and sale links, add a mothball link.

Having had this implimeted within sim2 one assumes your refering to sim1, Miller has only access to sim1 and therefore you may want to PM miller direct on this.

99.9% of the forum topics right now relate to sim2:)

Actually, I would like to take this a small step further

Right now you can mothball multiple aircraft which is good but I still miss an aoption to mothball all at once.

Even better still I would like the option to "Mothball all unused aircraft" That way I can quickly get rid of all my unused and unwanted frames.

On top of that would be an even beter option to "Sell all selected to bank"

Let's see what Tobias comes up with at the reset, the guy has been working 24/7 on improvements and more

There seams to be some problem with getting 747's and the like to go from manchester because the runway length is not long enough according to the aircraft data. Now I know for sure in real life that they do and the 777's too..

Anyway to rectify this or is it just the way it is??

No point flying again (Glennos) lost me Billions, so trying out the stock market, but pointless if the system dont release shares.

I bought a used q400 for 20 mil and then decided to sell it rtight back it sold for 18 mil and now it shows i have -1mil and when i bought the aircraft i had 30 mil how does that work my airline is:Lufthansa (22300)

Well lets see:

there is 10% for the Xmas party Champas
16% but we will let you have it for 15% sales tax
then there is 5% airport departure tax for the vallet and another 2.5% for the cut and polish.

We have added a new nose wheel thats 4%
Had to place toilet paper in the unisex toilets thats cost 1%

The back air flow vents fell off so that was another 3% added onto the final price.

The salesmans commission was 12.5% and we will send you a bill in due time as you got a deal there.

Not sure what airline you are, however, this type of game play and in-game messages have been happening since the game 1st started many moons ago.

If you must read them - dont let it get you down, remember AE is a semi-type of role game, in the fact that the top of the high tree (being leaderboard) is all some look at reaching some will employ any ways measurable to get there and many do like to play with your mind. (This is eactly whats happening here)

Thats one area that this game has over the others that just copy-kated AE, Miller was right in making AE 1946, that went down well with players, sure we have to look at all avanuse, there is so much one can offer.

Not getting off subject, but you need to get Stocks and Alliances going 1st, then add this post with other ideas as they come to mind, the game has in the last 6-mths had its up's and downs, but now is starting to grow again.

Will there be a menu to pick and choose exactly what your want (perhaps with a small picture and the effect it will have on your airlines) or just like a bar where we moved the button and it changes stuff??

In sim1, its known as a bug that when two players list an aircraft for sale at the same time, the script gets buggy.

Only way to revert it is to wait till the other player who listed at the same time as you sees your aircraft in their for sale list, they will remove it, and it will be returned.

But you have to wait.

With a reset due there isnt much point trading your aircraft...

Players, we are making AE more user friendly, with your help we can speed up the process, if you are moving around the site and find old non-updated pages that need to be looked at, can you please place within this post your comments with the address you refer to?
