Sud Aviation Caravelle 10B

I was browsing aircraft and I noticed there were no Sud Caravelle 10B varient. the I, III, IV-N, IV-R were to be found and the later 12 'Super Caravelle" with is insane 140 seating is noticable but no other late varients.


This variant offered many modifications in respect to other series. It had a leading edge, the wing had split flaps instead of the earlier models’ double-slotted Fowler flaps and the fuselage was extended 1.40m, with an increase in passenger capacity to about 91 to 100 seats, although some examples were latter requiped with 105, something I think we would all love to hear. The old engines were replaced with Prattt & Whittney J8TD engines with 6,350 kgf of thrust. The 10B first flew on August 31, 1964 and was produced as a run of 22 aircraft.


Largest operator of the 10B was Finnair with 8 examples. Avico ordered 5 but there order was was cancelled, with those aircraft going to Sterling Airways, LTU, and Iberia Airlines. Alia Jordian Airways and Unions des Transports Aeriens (UTA) also bought aircraft. The last operational Caravelle was a 10B that flew with Waltair until 2005.

I've tried many set ups to make money, all economy (32 seats) didnt work for me, nor did all first class or business class. Mixed isn't looking good either, I fly these in routes under 200 mi
