Air Carthage (Arabic: طيران قرطاج) is the national airline of Tunisia. Based in its Tunis-Carthage International Airport hub, with its HQ in the capital, it was founded in 1948 by the government of Tunisia and started operating a couple of months later. Overtime, the airline expanded its operations and revived Tunisia's position as an important commercial point in the Mediterranean Sea, thus continuing the legacy of the Carthaginian Empire, this time with airplanes instead of galleys and ships. Nowadays, the airline benefits from the strategic geographical position of Tunis and affirmed itself as an important player in the African continent and the Mediterannean Sea, connecting the Mediteranean and Africa to Europe, the Arab World, Asia and the Americas through its hub in Tunis, the country being exactly in the middle of North Africa and the Mediterranean Sea. Air Carthage operates an Airbus-Only fleet including the A220 family (ordered from the time they were known as the CSeries), the A320 family (NEO and CEO), 3 A350-900, 2 A330-200 and 2 A330-800 (NEO), with 3 more A350s and 2 more A330NEOs yet to be delivered. The Tunisian Revolution of 2010-2011 caused a couple of disturbance and difficulties but excellent management of the airline maintained its growth and minimized the impacts.

Air Carthage's main logo is a stylization of a aircraft tail merged with the national crescent and star of Tunisia.The livery on the tail includes a Tunisian traditional pattern in its background, the Air Carthage logo, and a Red and White design, interpreted as a stylized dune or an ocean wave.

 What makes you interested in joining the Atlas Alliance: The uniqueness the alliance brand emanate, I was intrigued by the way the alliance seems to work, especially concening the unique voting system on this website. Unlike other alliances, where a rejection is simple, there is an actual application grading with Atlas Alliance. That makes Atlas a promising and innovative alliance. What intrigued me even more is that Atlas seems to be focused on realistic brand identity and that's exactly what I'am looking for with Air Carthage.

 

What makes you think you would work well within the ranks of the Atlas Alliance:
 Members of the website have had positive experiences with the members of Atlas, and I also did. Since I also believe in a positive environment, I think I would work quite well within the alliance.
Lore wise Air Carthage would be a great addition to the Alliance, I strongly believe it would complement quite well the African network with African Airways, and it would also open the gates of the Arab World to the rest of the Alliance.
 
Who recommended you join Atlas Alliance? If nobody N/A: I noticed the Pessimist's post, and I was convinced that Atlas would be a good alliance for me.

Why do you want to join UnitedWings:
It is undeniable that UnitedWings is the main alliance of this website. Everything has a reason for its success, and I am sure that the keys used here
were the harmony and the courtesy part of the alliance's atmosphere. These elements can easily be felt through the liveries the alliance brings. I certainly would be delighted to join UnitedWings as it would mean the improvement of my designs, and being part of bringing beautiful concepts to the community by helping and giving feedback to fellow alliance members. Especially considering I value politeness, harmony and creativity, and that I strongly believe UnitedWings is the sole alliance capable of truly supporting these values.

What can you bring to the alliance:

I believe I can give a different perspective to every design I would be invited to give feedback. I have multiple ideas concerning creating logos that fits their theme (countries, culture...) and logos that have beautiful compatible colors. In other words, I have a good sense of imagination and creativity and will proudly support the good atmosphere that reigns over the alliance. I've also spent a year observing designs on this website, trying to comprehend what makes them unique, and I think that it really helped me improve my sense of liveries conception.
