Game Freezing/lagging

Every time I go to create a new route, the dropdowns are frozen for a few seconds and I am unable to click on anything.  Same happens when after clicking search on creating a new route, it freezes and then jumps to life.  Really frustrating and is really slowing things down to an almost painful pace.
