Pretty much every range figure for the Embraer E-jet family is incorrect...

Posted by kellykeli on 11 November 2024 - 01:06 AM

I- I'll just post the figures published by Embraer and the links and let you guys decide.

E170STD - 1800 nmi, 3334 km, 2071 mi
E170LR - 2100 nmi, 3889 km, 2416 mi
E170AR - 2150 nmi, 3982 km, 2474 mi

E175STD - 1750 nmi, 3241 km, 2013 mi
E175LR - 2150 nmi, 3972 km, 2474 mi
E175AR - 2200 nmi, 4074 km, 2531 mi

E190STD - 1850 nmi, 3426 km, 2128 mi
E190LR - 2400 nmi, 4445 km, 2761 mi
E190AR - 2450 nmi, 4537 km, 2819 mi

E195STD - 1600 nmi, 2963 km, 1841 mi
E195LR - 2000 nmi, 3704 km, 2301 mi
E195AR - 2300 nmi, 4260 km, 2646 mi

E175 sources - https://web.archive....Performance.pdf

E195 sources - https://web.archive....Performance.pdf

And even if we use the payload-range charts, the figures are still different than those in game (Approximate figures due to pulling from a graph)

E170 - 78 pax
E170STD - 1500 nmi
E170LR - 1850 nmi
E170AR - 2050 nmi

E175 - 88 pax
E175STD - 1450 nmi
E175LR - 1750 nmi
E175AR - 2000 nmi

E190 - 114 pax
E190STD - 1450 nmi

E190LR - 1950 nmi
E190AR - 2250 nmi

E195 - 124 pax
E195STD - 1200 nmi
E195LR - 1600 nmi
E195AR - 1750 nmi

In short, if we go off the max published range, the E-jets need a range buff across the board. If we instead go off payload-range charts at maximum capacity, the smaller variants need a range buff while the E195 family gets a slight nerf (1750 nmi = 2013 mi, so the E195AR gets most heavily impacted)
