Issues with Rio Galeo Airport (GIG), Berlin Brandenburg (BER), St. Maarten (SXM) and some more
3 noted issues:
1. Passenger demand at Rio Galeo Airport (GIG) is WAY too low, less than 100 per day in the mid 90's. American operates a daily nonstop flight on a 787-8. Even 30 years earlier there should still be enough demand for 1 flight per day, especially since Sao Paulo has more than 4x the demand.
2. The game shows Tegel Airport (TXL) is still open even though it closed 3 years ago, and Brandenburg (BER), it's replacement, is incorrectly located in the map somewhere just in the ocean just south of Ghana in Africa and it has less demand from JFK than the (now closed) TXL despite BER consolidating all of Berlin's former airports into one. Even in the 1990s it should still support a couple of nonstop flights per day from JFK.
3. Less than 100 passenger per day demand from MIA to St. Maarten Princess Juliana (SXM). American operate daily nonstop flights on 737-800. There should still be enough demand in the 1990's for one full 737 of at least one variant. This is also an issue for a lot of other airports in the Caribbean. Miami is a major gateway and a lot carribean airports have demand only in the double digits.
