Saint Pierre and Miquelon

Posted by ICEcold on 27 November 2018 - 03:59 PM

Hey all,

I'm trying out something in Saint Pierre and Miquelon, but it seems there's a confusion on the status of the Saint Pierre and Miquelon COM. It *is* France, but not the EU. Paris-Saint Pierre is considered a domestic flight (https://en.wikipedia...ir_Saint-Pierrehttps://en.wikipedia...re_and_Miquelon and https://www.independ...k-a8151426.html should help you with that), thus any flight that starts or ends in either Saint Pierre or Miquelon, should also be able to start and end anywhere in France without having to stop in Saint Pierre and Miquelon. So, I should be able to have a hub in Saint Pierre, Paris, Point-a-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Saint Denis and Mayotte (all but Paris being COMs) and fly from and to all of the above without constraint. Obviously, the COM of Saint Martin is the only COM to be part of the EU (likely to make it easier to administer Sint Maarten with the Netherlands), so I'm not saying Saint Pierre should be allowed a hub in the Azores or Germany, but I am saying that it *is* France, thus should be able to operate like any other airline in Metropolitan France, just without EU access.

Thanks!

-ICE
