Alliance bug

A few days ago, I requested to join an alliance (skywards) in R3. I later decided instead to start my own alliance. Today my original request was accepted, thus kicking me out of my own alliance. To top it off, I'm now the admin for Skywards. I don't mean to hijack an alliance, is there any way to get back to the alliance I created? It seems to no longer have a leader.

Awesome-liance. I gave up and just restarted it a few days ago. But it seems like kind of a important glitch considering I somehow became the leader of "Skywards." I could have deleted the entire alliance...
