I'm going to asusme this is a consequence of the move-over...but you've got a virus running rampant on the homepage. As soon as I opened the site up (having no other webpages open and not downloading anyhting at the time), I was hit with a fake security program that installs itself as a hidden file on the desktop and makes all folders hidden/read only. Its a bastard to get rid of, so it might be in the interests of the users to simply turn the website off until everything is complete.

I think you may have an existing infection.
Virus scan results: http://www.virustota...d8a1-1310148886
Also, I opened the site on an machine with IE6 with no antivirus installed - no problem.

Avast has no issues with the site. It's new though, so webrep has no rating for it yet. I gave it top marks, because AE is so

It sounds like it could have been system tool:
It is transferred through adverts - using javascript.

I am not good at computer viruses, but I believe as you started you browser the virus began to execute. In this case, virus was already installed with no connection to AE. I recommend you to install firewall. It will save your nerves and time.

I like Avast. It has 8 antivirus shields, auto updates, and is free.
