This is only a minor suggestion, but I would appreciate it if it were implemented. Would it be possible to add more options when searching for gates other than just regions? I would like to be able to enter an airport and then show other airports within a certain distance from that city - have one dropdown menu for cities, and then select a distance, and it will only show gates within that distance from the city you select, regardless of region. For example: "showing gates within 1000nm of KMSP." This could be very helpful when searching for new destinations from an airport.

One would still have to do research. This option would just narrow the field of candidates.

It's actually not that hard to make such a filter yourself. If you agree to do the hard work, i.e., make an Excel table or something with name, identifier, latitude and longitude of all the cities in the game, i'll make a program for you.
(latitude and longitude can be found in the city information page where market shares and so are shown).

(Hehe, now I can gather all the city data without actually having to do the work myself )

Edit: You might want to include gate cost as well if you want that to show up in the program.

Well if somewhone can help me with it I would like to make a list of all gate info with prices and distances in Europe to start and also try to make route info in it like who's fliying it whit which aircraft and ofcourse update it if somewhone can make a program for it

ill help for the U.S. but Ziliu can that bug u and Bryan used to make the route counters help us update a program with the number of gates left etc. so that way it would save everyone a lot of time and effort? or is there another one that will let us do that? just wondering

Okay, what I was suggesting was I could make a program to search for all airport within a given distance for a given city, if somebody is willing to help me collect the information about the cities. Perhaps I could also make so that you could calculate, with the program, all cities that can be flown a certain number of frequencies from a given city using a given aircraft, or something like that, but then, again, I'd need somebody help me collect the aircraft info.

Answer is no and no. First of all, though, I'd like to say that I wouldn't call it a bug, merely an "undocumented feature" . Second, it could be possible, but that'd cost Miller so much bandwidth and database server overhead that it wouldn't be feasible.
