Happy Saturday everybody,

I would like to kindly request a livery for African Wings, my AE14 airline based in Lagos, Nigeria. I attached the logo. Basically I'm happy with the current logo but I wanted to covert it into a livery. I would like to preserve the green-white-green tricolor (making up the Nigerian flag) as well as the bird emblem which can go either on the tail or fuselage...but besides that, nothing specific. Any ideas would be welcome!

The airline flies 737-200, 757-200, or 767-200, so any of those aircraft are good, with or without winglets.

Thanks in advance!

What is the font that "African Wings" is in? I've got something similar but it just doesn't give the same effect on my livery.

Is this about what you were thinking of? Again, I can change fonts and things.

I must say I quite like that, the design anyway. Not sure what's with the tail, that could do with altering a bit, but that font works excellently with it. That said, execution could do with improving somewhat.

I hated the tail design too. Here are some different alternatives to a pure "Sankofa" (the bird) design. Went with a Frontier Airlines style-approach, with multiple tails:

Walt, these all look really good! The font I used is called "Teen", but I do like the new font that you used. The concept to apply the Frontier motif of different animals for the tail is also a very good idea. I also like the "spirit of Africa" slogan and the fact that you put it on the plane...I'm going to change my slogan :)

My only suggestion is would you mind changing the tail with the tiger skin to an actual picture of an animal, a la Frontier? I found some sample links to try if you're interested in taking on this added task.

Either way, thank you very much Walt!

Oh, and by the way, thank you Walt for pointing out the name of the bird emblem (sankofa), that I was using. I found it from a google image search and used it...now I know what it is! :)

I can't do any more livery designs tonight, but maybe later in the week I can do some more.

I lied. I did a few before bedtime, but now off to bed. Tell me what you think!

Hey Walt, sorry for being away the last few days, but work has been taking over my life lately

Thanks again for the great rework on the planes...plus I'm changing my slogan to "sprit of Africa" cause it sounds cool. Thanks!
