I was reading about Ryanair lately.... looking at those disgusting aircraft interiors, and all the stuff it did to cut costs. I decided to see if I could trick AE virtual passengers to flying on an airline like that... so I created Frizz.

I noticed there was a lot of stuff they did that in AE would be nice for ultra low-costies like Frizz, here are a few things I noticed :

- Taking the window shades off, would never do this on a real airline, but something to consider.

- Maybe taking away a bathroom for a few more seats, but there would need to be limits, like a minimum restroom limit on a plane, and it would hurt your reputation.

- I posted this earlier, STAIRS BOARDING! This isn't for just low-cost airlines, but like.... it might hurt your rep a bit like maybe minus 2%, but it's one of the most obvious features missing in AE.

- This is for IFS, drinks. I don't want to give my passengers even a snack on a 20 mile route, they can buy their own treat at the airport. A drink, sure! These could cost like $1 and give your passenger something to enjoy while they're on a short flight.

- Interior advertising, something I would NEVER EVER do on a real airline, but would love to see AE passengers do it. It would gain some cash, and hurt you're rep by maybe 15 percent.

- Refunding for flights, legacy airlines (not the airline, but the term) could use this too (but they'd probably choose Yes!) this would let your pax refund their tickets. Perfect model of
'ryan'ism. UltraLCCs would be able to select No.

That's all, I had another idea, but that would stress out all the admins, it would be able to slightly redesign the plane like Ryanair does by putting it's life jackets in the overhead compartment, and taking out Autothrottle and some un-needed cockpit equipment.

This would all charge the airline in rep and money, but just a thought.^_^

I actually agree with some stuff on here and would be nice features for the game.

Taking the window shades off, would never do this on a real airline, but something to consider.

Even Ryanair doesn't do that.

- Maybe taking away a bathroom for a few more seats, but there would need to be limits, like a minimum restroom limit on a plane, and it would hurt your reputation.

I agree with that, and it could be something as like one for every 100 seats you have.

- I posted this earlier, STAIRS BOARDING! This isn't for just low-cost airlines, but like.... it might hurt your rep a bit like maybe minus 2%, but it's one of the most obvious features missing in AE.

I completely agree but that would have to be on a airport by airport basis as some airport don't offer that while others, like YQU in Canada there are no Jet ways.

- This is for IFS, drinks. I don't want to give my passengers even a snack on a 20 mile route, they can buy their own treat at the airport. A drink, sure! These could cost like $1 and give your passenger something to enjoy while they're on a short flight.

Yes I completely agree that drinks should be separate

- Interior advertising, something I would NEVER EVER do on a real airline, but would love to see AE passengers do it. It would gain some cash, and hurt you're rep by maybe 15 percent.

I would do this in an instinct as it is easy advertising.

- Refunding for flights, legacy airlines (not the airline, but the term) could use this too (but they'd probably choose Yes!) this would let your pax refund their tickets. Perfect model of 'ryan'ism. UltraLCCs would be able to select No.

Yes, like there could be a % chance of it happening and you would lose money.

That's all, I had another idea, but that would stress out all the admins, it would be able to slightly redesign the plane like Ryanair does by putting it's life jackets in the overhead compartment, and taking out Autothrottle and some un-needed cockpit equipment.

This would all charge the airline in rep and money, but just a though

That would be great but with more features.

Yes, we need to make AE More realistic so we can run it like a real airline, instead of some boring old game.

On my Airline, im trying to find ways to cut costs by cutting pay.

Removing window shades; Even Ryanair doesn't do that.

They wanted to, but laws prohibited it.

Why would they want to?

window shades don't weigh a lot, and removing them would have a high cost...

Lets just take away the pilots, it cuts down on staff salaries, let the passengers fly themselves

Ryanair's motto is all publicity is good publicity even if that means having plans about removing toilets, window shades.
Possible or not they will announce it and i am surprised they have not announced the pilot-less jet yet!
They should do that for april fools next year...
