Could someone please adjust the seat count for the A330-300, A340-200, and A340-300? According to Wikipedia, their maximums are 440, 420, and 440, respectively.

A good legroom rating puts their fuel/passenger ratio through the roof!

Thanks!

On second thought, 440 passengers is pretty high and puts it in the same category as the 777-200. A more conservative 375-400 for the -300's would probably be more accurate...

They currently cannot update a/c info due to the betas. This has also been mentioned at least twice.

Wikipedia indicates that the 772 holds as much as the a333. The 773 holds 550 pax. THe a333 is only one foot shorter than the 772

I didn't know the A330-300 was similar in size to the 777-200, but don't most 777's seat 9 abreast, versus the 8 abreast for A330's? There must be a slight difference in seat count.

Less than a one foot difference in width. The thing is it would be crammed on the Abus.

Yes, but it's crammed in a 772 as well - not many of them fly in that configuration (if any).

The B767/777 data in game refers to the maximum seating authorized in the aircraft certification, while that of the A330/340 comes from...who knows where. It's not realistic, as it puts the A330 on a clearly losing position when compared to the B767. It also renders some variants of the A340 (namely, the -200 and -300) completely useless in game.

I think the capacity number for the A340-300 is the typical 3-class configuration.

No, the number is the exit limit. Airbus didn't think anyone would want to fill an A340 with all economy seats.

The A340-200 is 350 seats max however not 420 (compare photos). Wikipedia has the -200 and -300 as having the same max capacity which is definitely incorrect.
By Carzo's sources the A330-200 should be 380 max as well...

BTW>This topic was already mentioned a few weeks back in the general discussion forum: http://www.airlineem...ating-capacity/

Hi Everyone

The A340-200 and -300 are listed with a lower seating capacity than they should be. Right now the A340-200 is 292 max while the A340-300 is 295 max. This is obviously wrong, as no airline would buy the -300 and lose all that range to gain just 3 seats. These numbers are for 3-class configuration and not single-class high-density configuration on which the (maximum) seating numbers are supposed to be based. I propose the -200 be changed to 350 seats, and the -300 be changed to 440 seats. Note these are maximum seating capacities, and when you arrange 350 seats on the -200 for example, you arrive at a seating plan comparable to actual airline layouts. For the -300, the new max capacity of 440 matches the 777-200/ER, which by no coincidence is noted on the 3rd website with "The direct Boeing equivalent is the 777-200ER." In the same way, the -500 is also 440 max and the -600 is 520 max. (4th site) Otherwise the fuel consumption is abnormally high for the payload currently listed. The -500 is a 777-200LR competitor and the -600 is a 747-400 replacement....

---un1 stated that the aircraft manager is offline at the moment and it will be updated when that is back up. This issue is also in the bug tracker http://www.airlineem...ating-capacity/

The correct figures for the A340 are as follows:

-200: 350
-300: 440
-500: 440
-600: 520

Note these are for all-economy; the numbers work out the same as real world seating plans when in 2/3 class config.
