I came to check on my airline after a couple of hours and now I have lost 12 Million dollars. I went to my monthly income and it said the I made 12 million not lost it. Is this a glitch or is it some thing else I did wrong. It just seems peculiar.
Thanks,

My Leases = 4,814,667
My Gate Leases = 1,467,346
Total = 6,282,013
Are these the only Monthly payments because they are nothing close to the 12 million I lost.

Aircraft Maintenance?, did you check that, as it could be the reason. Those costs go "through the roof" very quickly..., maybe too quickly...

Yes,
You got it! Forgot to check that assumed it wasn`t a monthly fee until, I checked it again... Also is the game paused. It still has the little play button on the top next to the time though?
Thanks

As I found out that those cost really rise pretty quicky, I´m now testing this with an airline to see how expensive it can become..., a 10 year old 747 costs 7 million $ a month to Maintain in AE 3.1... , in 3.0 this figure was only a sixth part or less of that, this makes it extremely expensive to operate "old" aircraft in 3.1.
Its a fact that in 3.1 you can´t operate 10 year old 747-200´s with the presetted route prices and make a profit at the end of the month.
I had to search for empty routes and assign the minimum frequency, and rise the ticket prices to the maximum to get out of the red..., lets see how long that test airline can make it
The game is still running I think, but at a slow pace, 30 min/day now, instead of 5min/day we hab at the start.
Cheers and profitable flights,

It`s seems like it`s been april 1 for a bit longer then 30 minutes now. So I think they paused it.
Thanks Again
I won`t be operating 10 year old 747-200 in the beta. But the new maintenance seems to be high and will hopefully make this game more realistic/competitive.

Yes, more realism is good, but I think those costs rise a bit too quickly at the moment, as I don´t think that a 10 year old 747-200 "in the year 1991" is a very old aircraft. Its not brand new, yes, but it also ain´t so old.
I received some new AC this afternoon on another airline in AE 3.1 realistic, so I asumed the game is running, but you are right, its somehow frozen...
Well then, good luck with your Airlines!

I will tweak the maintenance costs at some point. The time is running again now (it was stuck on April 1)

Thanks Yuxi!
Although its a real challenge and somehow more "exciting" to maintain airlines "in the green" with the current cost increases in maintenance , they rise to exhorbitant levels at some point I would say

I think a 10 year old 742 cost 7 millon a month is not realistic,it make some airlines have a lot of 742s lost mass money a month even the 742 day profit up to 100,000

Well,i lost $108m in 3 minutes!!
I think $3m monthly maintenance for a 767 doesn't make sense!! If it's a C/D check it's acceptable, but for a regular monthly check (some sort of B check) is not realistic at all!!
