Ilse of Man warmly welcomes their newest flag carrier, manX. The airline started operations recently, and has 4 operating routes, using a single Airbus 319-100. However, when we spoke to CEO of the airline, he annouced that even though they only have 1 Airbus 319, they have options for four more. Apparently, they will use these up quickly once funds allow it. They operate to Glasgow, Aberdeen and London (Heathrow & Gatwick) via Ilse of Man. It is easy to book a flight to London Heathrow, as they fly 5 times daily on this route, plus (2x weekly) weekend-only flights to London Gatwick. manX also operate early morning and evening flights to Aberdeen, daily. Their routes also include a 3 time a dily operation to Glasgow and the CEO of the airline suggested plans for Dublin and Belfast. Stay tuned to find out the latest news about what's going on with manX!

When we spoke to the CEO of Manx Airlines (abbreviated "manX") we doiscovered the airline's plans of route expansion. Upon arrival of their second Airbus 319-100, the airline plans to add these routes to their network: Dublin (DUB), Belfast (BFS) and Manchester (MAN). The airline also included a quote telling us they hope to increase the number of operating flights on route (IOM)-(LGW) from 2x weekly (weekends-only) to 7x weekly (daily).
Also, upon arrival of a second Airbus 319-100, the airline plans on changing their livery. The new scheme will be as follows:

Manx International Airlinesâ„¢ (Abbreviated "manX") proudly annouced earlier today that they have purchased a Saab SF-340 form another [annonymous] airline, who were replacing their Saab 340s with Airbus A319s. Though an old aeroplne model, manX are delighted with the deal. The SF340 ceased production in around 1998, but [annonymous] still operated a fleet of 3 SF340s. Now being replaced by 319s, manX arranged a dal and took on the SF340. They have utilized it by increasing their frequency on the route (IOM)-(LGW).
Previous operation:
weekend-only 319-100 service to LGW
Current operation
5 times daily w/ Saab SF-340 AND 1x Saturday 1x Sunday w/ Airbus 319

Isle of Man International Airways:
Our routes have been expanding, but on regional routes our actions have been limited
However, manX may have closed IOM-MAN and limited IOM-BHX to Saturday only, our flights have expanded to daily to Derby. We operate Isle of Man (Ronaldsway Airport) to East Midlands (Derby)! We have also moved into mainland Europe, Debuting on succesful routes to Madrid (3x daily, 21x weekly) and Zurich (Daily, 7x weekly)! These routes are operated on our newest member of our fleet, a second Airbus 319-100! We hope everybody flying with manX will great our new aircraft warmly! Also, our in-flight magazine, SkyStreak, has been updated with our brand-new route map. This map shows our operating cities:

NOTE: this map shows cities only, it doesn't display multiple airports in cities (e.g LGW and LHR)
On our new Airbus 319 we give you better servies for your longer flights, so you can enjoy them in maximum comfort! Our food on our longer range flights include small hot meals and light breakfasts, along with little snacks and refreshments for closer destinations!
manX wishes you a safe and enjoyable journey!

manX warmly invites our latest fleet member, the Embrarer 170! Our saab SF340s routes will now be operated by the 170 and will now operate to a second swiss airport and 3rd mainland destination. The 170 generates more profit on the SF340s old routes, wile the 340 is fitting in comfortably with its 2x daily service (Except for weekend, when it is only once on each day) and our fleet is constructing well.
FLEET:
2x A319 (4 options)
1x E170 (2 options)
1x SF340 (Options cancelled)
Out new skystreak magazine presents a wonderful representation of our new route map!
