I am pleased to announce that we are starting development of an in-game documentation/help system to help new players find their way around. Conor has agreed to take on this project. :D

The wiki will serve as a more detailed reference source rather than a beginner's guide.

I could do that, I was playing about 3 hours a day on sims 2 beta and sims 2 kinda played sim 1 (not too extensively though) and would like to help out. Also in sims 2 beta I was always in top 20 and would like to help

Please disregard this announcement. I'll post an update on this issue later - stay tuned.

I'm looking for a player experienced with the current game (ideally one who has played sim2 beta extensively) to join the staff and take charge of creating and updating game documentation on the Wiki. The first priority is to create a starter guide to guide new players through setting up and expanding their first airline.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and be familiar with wiki markup, uploading, taking/posting screenshots and thumbnails, and of course extensive experience with the game. Keep in mind we are all volunteers here, so there is no requirement for the amount of time dedicated to this (the more the better, of course).

If you are interested, email me at yuxi@airlineempires.org with your forum username, experience in the above areas, and any other information you'd like to provide before Sunday at midnight EDT.

He wasn't until last night. And he gets to do it because he has knowledge of PHP/MySQL, which is required for the job, as I stated in the email.

Yes there wasnt Alex but a job came up and it required knowledge of PHP/MYsQL do you have that?

I would love to help out if ever help is needed :) ive been asking conor a lot recently if he needs help with the ingame tutorial, i can echo text in php, and maybe do a few other things, im not good with the mysql though. But nevertheless, i would love to help out if ever its needed. :)
