Just a few comments and suggestions...

1) Creating route from the aircraft overview page
I can't understand why this has been altered with the new version. I miss being able to be on a overview for a specific aircraft where i can see if the aircraft is flying between already and its hours available, then simple add new route, job done.... rather than creating the route in the same way but then having to scan down the huge list of aircraft, find the right aircraft ID and set it to whatever frequency. even if the aircraft i was originally "over viewing" showed up at the top of the table or in bold, would be an improvement.

2) Changing frequency of an existing route
Similar to my rant about creating a route, i miss the old method and layout. I think its too fiddly and arkward to have each trip of the "route" displayed in a table with an automated flight number. To change the frequency we have to select however many "trips" we want to remove rather than using a simple drop down menu on the previous version on the route overview area, with much clearer market share information.

3) Seat configurations and classes
Great! can not fault this great feature, but one small suggestion I would have, is being able to simple EDIT an existing config, if for example we wanted to amend the name of the config, or tweak the amount of seats in each class to suit the demand (and by doing so, edit all the aircraft using the configuration), maybe it would also be nice to see the current config as a new column on the aircraft list or aircraft overview?

Hope this doesnt sound too negative, i think AE is a fantastic airline sim, but sadly the current situation of creating and managing routes has put me off using sim2beta simply because Its Too Complicated and time consuming to set up even the most simple routes compared to the previous version of sim2beta

I agree with your suggestion in your first point - highlighting aircraft already on the route, or a previous selected aircraft would be excellent.
Definitely with you on point 3 too.

Regarding point 2, I like this way of things. It makes it so much neater if, like me, you have a number of aircraft on the same route. This also appears to limit or stop them "competing" with eachother, a problem I had on the previous method.
However, I see your point. I'd suggest keeping the option of checkbox flight cancellation, but also a drop down box to remove an aircraft from the route, or remove a set number of flights which will then be taken evenly from each aircraft?

On a similar note, I would like a bit more control over flight numbering. For my own personal satisfaction, I would introduce my own numbering systems that would allow me to identify aircraft types and regions, etc. When creating a route perhaps there can be the option of ammending the flight numbers from those automatically generated. For example, I have ten flights on a route, I want five to have a different numbering system, so I enter a flight number, example SN8088, and it will allocate consecutive flight numbers for all five flights, starting there, so SN8090, SN8092, etc. Not a priority obviously, but maybe a fun new toy!

I must admit, I think this version is an improvement, but I do see the faults posted by Craig above.

Like point 2, something's bugging me. It's how flights are numbered. As far as I know the flight numbers don't go like the real world, a series/range of flight numbers for a particular destination/region. Not the case here in AE. Not a real problem, but just fairly unrealistic.

Thanks for response, i agree that it would be great for the route page if the old layout and the new layout could meet in the middle so that it would be efficient for multiple aircraft routes or just to simple cut the frequency slightly on existing route. On the create a route page it would be a huge improvement for the current selected aircraft to be highlighted, and maybe the aircraft currently operating the route.... maybe have 3 "Blocks" on the page or just a simple line seperating the current aircraft, existing aircraft on route, and then below show the remaining fleet.

Good idea with the flight numbers, maybe if we had the choice of the number range, such as setting the starting number for each base then let the system automate the relevant flights in a tidy order?

Also when you look at flight;

1. It shows that the flights only have a fraction of the seats.

2. I liked that you could price certain aircraft on a route.
