Read a flight magazine today and noticed that the stats in the game are way off. Here's a source containing basically the same data as I found in a well-established aviation newspaper:

what exactly do you think is off? everything AE has is right for it.

Primarily the range, which is better than in real life.

no its not. if you look, all ranges are in standard miles, not nautical. and the standard mile range for the 787 is the 9445 that AE has.

however after looking into some other aircraft, it seems that some others are set to nautical miles.

Hmm, yeah, weird... Didn't know the miles in the program was "standard mile" (what standard by the way? Statute? UK? US?). I thought you always referred to "nautical miles" when it came to plane ranges and distance between cities.

Either way, I was probably mistaken saying the specs are wrong for the 787-7.

It used to be that some aircraft had ranges in nautical miles and some in statute miles, so we converted everything into statute miles for consistency. Maybe we'll switch to all nautical miles in the future when I find a better distance calculator.
