Ok, I would like to know how the computer picks which airline it will be flying on?
For example, I just wanted to go from OAK to ANC
there is one airline doing it and charging 700$, I open the route and can get anyone to fly on my airplane if I charge more then 226$...
so...I would like someone to explain to me what goes into the desicion making tree for the pax....Are you really telling me that I can not steal any of this guys pax?
thanks for the help..

I would say hubs increase the load factor, for example i have a hub at JFK with more than 21 gates, even if the OD load factor is low it is completed by the connecting factor. That's why some airlines don't loose passengers, so you might want to choose a less heavily populated route or a more efficient plane. Oh, and sometimes the routes are not profitable even though the planes fly full, so the guy might be losing money on the long run.

He is using an efficient plane, you're trying to use a boeing.
just try it on the route research with a couple different planes. You'll find that the type of plane he uses will earn 700$ a seat while your boeing earns 226$ a seat for that flight.
Btw, that's something I noticed on my 2nd day in the game
