David, I am curious how much a/c commonality affects the load factor for passengers and/or connecting passengers.

That will not affect the loadfactor i think, probably the maintenance / depreciation costs though ;-)

Commonality doesn't do much in sim3 (look at Shanghai's fleet 
) but in the sim2 beta it does add to the maintenance cost.
