Hi folks,

tonight I replaced the old flash-based charts and maps with Google charts and maps.

Should be more user-friendly and well-know, there is also another good difference: The google stuff will be fully rendered by the browser, not by the server. So if you have slow PC you should not use the world map to rent new gates.

With this new stuff, two new settings were introduced into to Usersettings-Page. You can define the width and height of the map now, this applies to all places where you see the map - except your own route map, this size is still static.

Have fun,

Tobias

So if somebody wishes some additional charts, I can implement it easy now and have not to think about server performance, just suggest it :P

I find it a bit inaccurate :S i'm based off Pearson... but the map is showing i'm getting off buffalo... and one of my yyz-atl routes show that i'm landing on farmland in the middle of no where lOL

i personally like the old ones because it only showed what you flew. so when looking at my current route map, i see all the clutter from the state/country lines state names,etc...

I prefer this It is much more detailed and feels more realistic the coordinates of London Gatwick - LGW are wrong . But I don't like the new pie chart.

That usually means we're missing coordinates for that airport, so it defaults to (0,0) :P
