Hi folks,

beside the performance things I'm working on the customization of the interface by the user.

Settings planned right now:

  • Pagination: Entries per page
  • Profit warnings: Via mail or within the route page
  • Page to show after login
  • Default order on aircraft/routes/gates-pages

Anything else what you want to customize?

Awaiting your feedback.

Bye,

Tobias

Can you put in a total box on the route page so when someone filters a certain city they can see how much they are making in that city? So lets say I want to see how much I am making out of my hub in LHR, so I filter the routes to LHR and at the top or bottom of the page I see how much I am making on flight going in and out of LHR.

Does that make sense?

Why not on the gate-page?

And how to calculate this. Lets say you have a flight LHR-FRA with a profit of 150,000 and a flight LHR-HAM with 100,000.

Whats the correct profit of LHR?

- 250,000 (150,000 + 100,000)
- 125,000 ((150,000 + 100,000) / 2)

The first one has a risk: If you add all profits of single airports all to gether your calculated DOP will be higher than the real one - but it will show more what the airport is generating. So I'm not sure whats the better solution. Give me hints :)

A feature to enable the market share information on the airport/city page would be something I would like to see added (brought back). hehe

I'm sorry, I can't find it anywhere. I am looking to find out, for example, what percentage of passengers my airline serves from my hub in Detroit. How does my airline compare to others serving DTW. The market share information is still missing as far as I can see. Can anyone else see it? Am I missing something?

Elchie,

What I am looking for is the total that airport is generating. While I understand that the DOP total may be higher what I am looking for, what is that airport making so that it acts as a tool for adjustments if you are not making what you expect it to make. Currently all we have is a total DOP but not really an airport DOP. :)

Make Sense?

Sorting via terminal/hub should work now. Please go to your settings again and save them again.

The gates page contains now also a "monthly profit" column, this column can also be selected from the settings page as default order.

Just on http://ae.simulationcloud.net right now.

I would like to view all of my routes on one page rather than multiple. Can this be added to the settings???

Thanks for adding back the market share info. I'm glad you used my idea of making it an "option/setting" feature! hehe

The monthly profit at each airport on the gates page was a great surprise too!

Thanks again. After some time of suffering, I really think AE is really back on track and now is better than before. The LF seems much more workable now than a month or two ago, too.

Tobias, gates?

Is there a way to make a route selection on the gates easier to locate?

Example, if I set up from say my terminal and have 99 gates still remaining thats on the top of my list, but if I have 200 gates in the next list but want to select say LAS, I have to keep scrolling up and down the list trying to locate LAS, time consuming.......any ideas?
