Everyone (well...those of us who are aviation enthusiasts ) has their preference on what airliners they fly in. I, for one, and maybe this comes from me living in America, have a general fondness for Boeing aircraft. I will admit though, that when it comes to narrowbodies, the A320 family is much more comfortable. Anyway, my point is this; the seat counts are just a tad bit favoring Airbus. I suppose I can understand the Airbi fleet having better range, more fuel efficient, cheaper cost to purchase, etc etc, but some of the seat counts are just factually wrong.
A.E. A330-200 seats: 325
A.E. 777-200ER seats: 310
Dose of Reality...
A330-200-
253 (3-class)
293 (2-class)
777-200ER-
301 (3-class)
400 (2-class)
I'm sorry, but that's a big discrepancy.
Take the Boeing 777-300...
A.E. says it seats 375, yet in the real world it could seat anywhere from 368 to 451 (the latter is in a 2-class arrangement).
Boeing 747-400...A.E. perfectly quotes the Boeing 3-class seat count.
Looking at a comparable Airbus aircraft, it seems A.E. got this one right.
Airbus A340-600. A.E. states 342, while Airbus states 380 seats in a 3-class arrangement.
But then when we look at the A330-300, A.E. states 358, while the Airbus site states 295 (3-class) or 335 (2-class).
The Boeing 767 is a bit better.
A.E. 767-200ER- 189
Real 767-200ER- 181 (3 class) 224 (2 class)
A.E. 767-300ER- 240
Real 767-300ER- 218 (3 class) 269 (2 class)
A.E. 767-400ER- 283
Real 767-400ER- 245 (3 class) 304 (2 class)
I understand this isn't my simulation (and it's a good one at that, as I enjoy playing), but it just seems these numbers are...inaccurate at best.

Well the airbus config is also a bit off for the A319. I know this for a fact as I work for an airline that flies the A319 in a single class config. It is configured for 136 seats but in the game it show 121. As for the A318 we have them configured for 121 seats again in a single class. The A320's we fly are cogfigured to 165 seat single class.
This does not mean all airlines are the same but since in AE we have a single configuration I thought I would throw in what we have our Airbus fleet configured to.

This is a simulation. What is the crime in wanting a realistic one?
I want to go up. I want to go fast. Where's my springboard?
