When calculating my daily profit from the finance section, it is quite different from the daily operating profit listed on my main page. I have taken into account any gates leased during the current month and aircraft depreciation, but it still comes up to be quite a bit less. On my main page it says I am making around $9.25 million/day, but when I calculate it out, it comes out to be around $7.83 million/day. My profits have flucuated this month as always but never been less then $9 million/day.
I am a newbie so no flaming please, just curious if the game takes other things into account?
My airline is SwingAir (14542).

I am also thinking that maybe the payroll is not calculated in the daily operating expenses which would basically make up the difference. Too bad I have to pay those lazy Bast@rds:)

That discretion is due to the Fuel u pay per day in relation to your airline.
Ull never get the full amount of the Daily Operating Profit since Fuel is a vital expense in ur airline and if u keep growing, the percentage of Fuel Expense taken away from your DOP gets larger.
Hope that explains it.
