LAX-ORD: It seems the problem which plagued the last test of Sim2 is still there. Check the pie chart and then check the prices.

Another comment is, some routes seems to have become impossible to fly - like FRA-HAJ. Having played at FRA in sim1, I remember that route wasn't too atrocious. In Sim2, 5 x Q400 with no competitor already requires low prices, around $200.

Another observation is how the larger city pairs now support more seats. FRA-LHR has over 3000 seats and I can still fly 5x Q400 at $260. In Sim1, 3000 seats would kill the LF to 0% for everyone.

Other than that, the new script has been pretty smooth going so far, and probably has more potential than Sim1. Keep up the good work!

Skylite can put such high prices because of his hubs, the money probably comes from the connecting pax.

Haven't really seen the hub script in action but by the looks of it, needs fixing nonetheless because the screenshot is no better than LAX-LAS in the old days!

No it is not because of hubs I believe. I have hubs too and much more traffic in them than Skylite (which had just 31 aircraft by the time it was posted I believe) and prices cmight be somewhat higher but definitely not like this especially when there is competition. I think the bug may be activated by flying many aircraft (instead of higher frequency) on the same route.

That is exactly what I'm doing. Yes you have hubs to but the airports in africa don't have as many daily passangers as say LAX and ORD or DEN all of those have over 700 daily passangers. I'm using my connecting passangers. This is the second large profitalble route of mine you are shoting down. You already shot at my LAX - DEN route which resulted in me losing over $25 milion dollars in profit. I'm not cheating, quit attacking my large routes.

Another thing you said when this was posted I only had 31 aircraft and you had more traffic on your routes. At that time if your Air Transvaal which I'm pretty sure you are the majority of your fleet was Q400's my fleet was all Boeing. Bigger planes usually means more profit. You may of had more planes than me but my planes were bigger.

I don't think skylite is cheating, but he is exploiting a bug. I bet that those routes have 100% of the lf from connecting traffic. That is how it worked in the first game. Sadly, this makes the game no fun and I hope to see this fixed in the future in order to make the game playable.

I have tried to get a lf of 100% with connecting pax only on routes from my hub, but haven't managed to get it. At least not yet.

Cheers,

Due to continuing accusations of cheating and displeasure with the way the top airlines in sim2 play the game Skylite Airlines has decided to leave the running for the top spot in sim2. We will not be leaving the game but will be changing ticket prices and closing routes to make the game more realistic. Skylite Airlines hope is that the other top airlines in sim2 will do the same to make the game more injoyable for everyone.
