i was making good LF from BCN using E195LRs on two routes. Because of this I changed aircraft from the Embraer to A321-100s. To compensate for greater capacity I slightly reduced my ticket price.

Initially all things went well and LF was exceptional. After a few minutes though LF was at 9% and 0% and income was in the red.

On both routes I have a common competitor. Did he exploit the LF bug against me here. His prices have remained unchanged and higher than mine?

If I have understood correctly, cheating with the LF bug causes the cheater's loadfactor to go to 100% regardless of the ticket price. That means that you don't use that kind of cheat against your competitors, you use it to make more money than you should be getting.

Your LF dropping severely sounds like the well-known bug in the game where your competitor resetting the route causes your LF to drop, and when you reset the route again, his/her LF drops and then you can just keep resetting the route back and forth ad nauseam.

He may have pulled the other dirty trick, which is an abused feature of AE. I have a few routes where I know which person is using it.

If it is me, I am not cheating - I can't be bothered to reset my own routes as long as they are making +ive money.
