CNN / Tokyo – Haneida

There was another cause for celebration this morning as a new airline based its operation at the already expanding Tokyo – Haneida airport. Pacific Airways founded by former CEO of Flyter Bruce proudly showed off to the public and press its colourful two Beech 1900D’s.

“Its terrific, to start an airline from the beginning and to watch it grow and be one of the most comprehensive airlines.

With 2 Beech 1900D’s Pacific Airways is running the following schedules out of Tokyo – Haneida.

Tokyo – Haneida to Osaka = 9 x return flights per day
Tokyo – Haneida to Sapporo = 5 x return flights per day

With the airline going into its 4th day of operation it’s seen a tremendous demand on all flights.

“With a fun friendly and atmospheric atmosphere within our airline, why wouldn’t you want to fly with Pacific Airways” Said Bruce as he loaded bags onto flight PA220 to Osaka KIX

With the increased demand Pacific Airways has already taken the option of purchasing a former MESA Beech 1900D aircraft in the United States. The aircraft comes from a reputable company with an immaculate maintenance history and were going to be proud to have another aircraft to our inventory.

With Pacific Airways main office in central Tokyo it is common to see the CEO in the mornings at star bucks coffee with a colleague asking on how Pacific Airways can change for the better.

Standing on a teak – mahogany, CEO Bruce shuffled his papers and cleared his throat to start the press conference, the crowd hushed and leaned forward to hear every breath taking word about Pacific Airways

“Welcome everyone, to another press release its great to have you all here, today mark a special today for us as we celebrate our first of operation. Please ladies and Gentleman please follow our staff to the awaiting coaches”

There was a murmur of surprise.

“Pacific Airways motto is to do something out there, this is what were doing today is flying everyone to our newest destination of Seoul to experience the airline real hand”

-Statement issued by CEO Bruce -

Pacific Airways has gone from strength to strength over the last year and this hasn’t been from me it’s been the people that have put their hearts into our operations. Starting off with 2 Beech 1900D’s and $5million working capital Pacific Airways has expanded that to the present fleet of 2 Beech 1900D’s and 3 x Saab 2000’s with options on 20more.
It’s amazing to see where we have come from in a short amount of time, airports all around Asia are contacting us in conjunction of Pacific Airways starting operations to them ASAP but we have to limit our growth and control costs. You see that’s what makes airlines go bust quickly they see what they want to do and go for it, they don’t want to see what’s happening around them and before it’s too late they go under.
Over the next couple of months Pacific Airways we slowly increase the number of Saab 2000’s in the fleet by converting its option that it has with the European manufacture. We are remaining tight lipped on our jet operation side at the present moment, but it won’t be long before we make that decision.
It’s going to be a fun journey for my self, my colleagues and for everyone who has the chance of flying with us.

Take care,

Bruce
CEO of the Pacific Airways group

Speaking to a group of well over 100 news reports this morning CEO Bruce stated that his recent trip to the Saab manufacturing plant in Europe has resulted in a firm order for 2more Saab 2000’s and optioned a further 10.

“They are such great aircraft”

Industry analyses stated that Saab came in at the top of the closed tender for the 50 – 70seater aircraft well ahead for the price per airframe and how quickly Pacific Airways could receive its aircraft.

Asked where Pacific Airways was putting the aircraft CEO Bruce replied.

“Well there are a few places that were considering but more than likely that the aircraft will replace the Beech 1900D’s operating into Seoul due to the continued increase for demand with seats”

Press reporters shouted out questions from both left and right field at the CEO but one question was bold.

“When are we going to see the heavy stuff arrive?”

“Soon, only late last week I was busy flying to Europe, America and South America over the purchase of Jet aircraft in the 90 – 150seat capacity. It was interesting to say at least that we got some very attractive deals especially with Embraer, Airbus and Boeings order books nearly bare. We couldn’t make our decision and the main problem was that it didn’t fit into our 2yr business plan”

Clearing his throat and ruffling his papers on the desk, the room quickly fell silent once again, reporters hanging on for every word

“This has been a very busy week for us all and personally I would like to say thankyou to everyone directly involved within Pacific Airways, but secondly we would also like to take this opportunity to make an announcement that Pacific Airways has been successfully successful in being accepted into the Platinum Wings Alliance.
“Discussions had been ongoing for the last couple of weeks with co – owners Eagle Xpress of San Francisco and Skyland Air of Los Angeles but when I made the trip over to America early in the week it became clear that the alliance could help Pacific Airways and Pacific Airways could help the alliance in many different ways”

Well after a very busy and hetic 96hrs I shall be taking the evening off, a press release will be issued tomorrow morning on arrival of our additional Saab 2000’s

--9:00am--

“Good morning and welcome to another press release by Pacific Airways, I do apologise for not attending the conference yesterday and I shall be making it up for today. I apologise in advance for the longest press release that is to come. So please bear with me we shall be taking a quick 10minute interval just in case you guys need to ring ahead or whatever, we shall commence again at 9:30am

--9:30am--

Today Pacific Airways said farewell to its last Beech 1900D after nearly two years of operating the type, the aircraft made its last flight from HND- CJU with 18passengers onboard. Once completed the aircraft powered up and taxied to Pacific Airways maintenance base for pre – delivery checks for another operator. 4 Tokyo – Haneida airport fire emergency service gave the aircraft a famous wall of arch much to the surprise of everyone involved.

“The aircraft proved a great success in our operations but now there just aren’t enough seats on the aircraft to meet our growing demand on all services, the Saab 2000 is where this comes into the fray offering us more seats and the passengers a greater level of comfort. This is what they have come to expect from Pacific Airways” replied Bruce
“Although were not saying its going to be the last Pacific Airways sees of the Beech 1900D its quite the opposite, when we have grown to a size that we feel comfortable we see the Beech 1900D as a great aircraft to explore more opportunities within Asia in years to come.”
“Our Final Beech 1900D UE: 396 has been purchased by Eagle Xpress of San Francisco a Platinum Wings alliance member, we have a great understanding about airlines and when they realised that we were selling our last remaining Beech 1900D they jumped at the chance”

“In the last two days Pacific Airways have put into service 3 x Brand new Saab 2000 aircraft into Tokyo – Hanedia airport with immediate success, our DOP has reached over $1million dollars and were on tragic to over achieve in our budget requirements.”

“We are bursting at the seams in terms of airport space so that’s why we have come to agreement with the airport authorities to take over 2gates formally used by now defunct carrier Asian Express World

“Now ladies and gentleman I told you that for not making a press release yesterday please follow my members of staff to the awaiting coaches outside”

Once onboard the coaches the reporters were treated to a onboard commentary by the CEO

“We have come to realise that everyone needs to be a part of our success both our workers and the customers/clients. With that in mind we have done some deep workings you see as we drive to the airport we have spent massive on advertising, our names appear on street taxis, billboards, newspapers and we even managed to strike a deal with the Tokyo rail authority where 10trains have been painted in Pacific Airways livery. Although this action cost us $10million we believe it’s worth it as the more people that know about our company the better”

On arrival to the check – in area of Pacific Airways CEO Bruce led them up to the departure lounge and showed off to the world its new business lounge.

“Today I open to everyone who flies with Pacific Airways, our new corporate / business lounge. As of yet we don’t have any aircraft that are in business class arrangement so how gives were opening it up for everyone”
“The lounge the size of 4olympic swimming pools, comes with comfortable leather chairs, pool tables a’lacart menu and all the swiss you would associate or a business lounge, and its free to enter for everyone”

Pacific Airways welcomed its first jet into operation earlier this morning as flight PA1540 to Singapore. It’s truly a remarkable aircraft CEO Bruce said taking the press around the A320 named CITY OF TOKYO

The letter of Intent was signed with Airbus 6mths after commencing operations for 20 options between 10 x A320 5 x A319 5 x A340-300 but we decided to keep this anonymous due to the fact that we didn’t want our competitors knowing what we have planed for Tokyo – Hanedia.

I shall be releasing another statement latter this afternoon.

Earlier this morning, CEO Bruce spoke to the press saying that it had converted on of its A319’s options into a firm order. The A319 will supplement Pacific Airways 2 x A320’s on intra – Asia flights, but CEO has refused to say just exactly where the aircraft will be placed.

“Were talking to a number of airports that are wanting a connection to Tokyo – Haneida in the Asia region but you never know with the A319’s range it has the legs to make it all the way across to Dubai international airport, and to make matters more exciting you never know we may just end up there!”

“We are continuing to talk to CEO of Saab Gary Westing about the purchase of additional Saab 2000 aircraft, but we have to play the game and physically look where we can put the aircraft to maximise profit potential”

“We continue to work closely with the Platinum Wings Alliances over code share agreements through flight scheduling and aircraft purchasing. It’s a busy time for us here at Pacific Airways. Only last week Eagle Xpress approached us for information regarding the purchase of an EMB-170 aircraft. Seeing that Pacific Airways recently conducted a survey regarding these aircraft we were more than happy to oblige with our financial information. With this information Eagle Xpress placed a firm order for a single airframe for delivery next month” Commented CEO Bruce

“With two A320’s in Pacific Airways portfolio we have grown from strength to strength especially over the past couple of weeks and with an additional A319 on the way were growing at a tremendous rate from 2 x Beech 1900D to the present fleet of 2 x A320 + (1) A319 and 6 x Saab 2000”
